Where the data comes from.
The primary dataset is the European Environment Agency’s bathing-water status layer for the latest published bathing season used by this site. The layer includes bathing-water name, country, type, coordinates, latest classification, historical classes, identifier and—where supplied—a national bathing-water profile link.
Attribution
Source: European Environment Agency (EEA); bathing-water data and coordinates are reported by national authorities. EEA permits commercial and non-commercial reuse with attribution, subject to its legal notice and source-specific rights.
